New Jersey Institute of Technology goes 0-29

So I was reading ESPN and I came across this

An 0-29 season. How is that possible?? That’s harder than going undefeated. And how does this happen: The Highlanders were also the only Division I team this season with more turnovers (577) than field goals (550). Wow!! Just wow!!

Kelvin Sampson: HE GAWN!!

I guess cheaters don’t win after all. Kelvin Sampson, he who kept violating NCAA rules and making impermissible phone calls is no longer the head coach at Indiana University, a school where up until now when Sampson kept breaking rules had never been slammed with a major violation. That includes all the years under the great Bobby Knight. That’s right, folks. Robert Montgomery Knight may have had a horrible temper, but he always ran his programs clean.

How ironic is it that after this whole ordeal, Sampson will get $750,000, and will agree to not sue the school. $550,000 of it is coming from a donor, who gave up cancer research to send him packing. This guy breaks rules and gets 3/4 million, while when an athlete breaks the law, he is thrown off the team, kicked out of the school, loses his scholarship, and gets turned over to the po-po. Good riddance to Sampson. I hope this bum is never allowed to coach again. Broke rules not only once, but twice, and on top of it, he lied.

Kelvin Sampson should be the next spokesperson for Verizon

Can you hear me now?? Good! Can you hear me now?? GOOD!!

Most people probably recognize that from the Verizon wireless commercials. Well, it would also apply to Kelvin Sampson, the head basketball coach at Indiana University, who is being investigated for continually making illegal recruiting phone calls. Does this dope learn? At Oklahoma, he made over 500 illegal phone calls and was placed on probation. When he was hired at Indiana, he promised he would clean up his act and do things legally. Some promise.

Right after being hired, he kept going about his cheating ways. Not only did he violate his probation, he also engaged in acts that would have been violations even if there was no probation. He faces 5 major NCAA violations. And to top it off, he lied about it all. He’s as big a scumbag as Barry Bonds, Ron Mexico, Tim Donaughy, Marion Jones, and everyone else who’s in the slammer for lying or looking at time in the slammer.

Can you hear me now? GOOOOOOD!!!! Sampson is giving Indiana a bad name. Disrespecting 40+ years of being clean. Sure, Bobby Knight may have been the Woody Hayes of basketball, but he ran his programs clean. Sampson should never be allowed to coach again.
